tanning tips: for a flawless spray tan

Waxing, facials, manicures, and pedicures should be done prior to appointment. Be sure to remove all residual products before your spray tanning
For best results exfoliate and shave the night before your appointment. Avoid oily scrubs.
Do not apply moisturizer, oil, or deodorant to the skin before tanning.
Airbrush tanning is best applied to cool dry skin.
After your spray it is best to wear loose, dark washable cotton clothing as some rub off can occur. No jeans or bras please.

Wait 8 hours after spray tanning before you allow water to touch your skin. Our Express Tan can be rinsed off in 4 to 6 hours. Our Rapid tan can be rinsed off in 2-4 hours after spray tanning.
If you sleep in the tanning solution, wear long, loose pants and a t-shirt. Avoid skin on skin contact.
Your first shower should be a quick lukewarm rinse without soap. Dove and deodorant soap should always be avoided.
The color guide solution will wash off at this time. This is not your tan. Simply wait until the water runs clear before exiting the shower.
If you must shampoo during your first rinse, pull hair forward and wash quickly or wash in the sink to avoid suds running down your back.
Use hands to wash. Gently pat dry with a soft towel.
Use a petroleum free moisturizer after you've taken your first rinse and daily for the duration of the tan.
Be gentle to your skin to best maintain your tan, think of your tan as your top layer of skin. Skip steams, hot soaks, massages, oils, and scrubs.
